So who’s this Varun Pruthi? Looking at his videos, one thing is sure. He is an actor but doesn’t have any professional acting assignments at present. So what he did. He didn’t wait for any TV or film company to cast him. Instead he used the internet to release his own videos and get a fan following.
I think internet is a great leveller. Someone like Gul Panag, who was rejected from Bollywood, has 1.5 million followers on Twitter. Meanwhile Bollywood biggie Amitabh Bacchan has 500,000 followers.
